At Kirtlington CE Primary we believe that collective worship should provide pupils with space for reflection where children’s spirituality can be developed and expressed in a variety of ways. We provide the opportunity for daily acts of worship which are distinctively Christian in character and linked to our School Christian values. Our acts of worship include Bible readings, Bible stories, as well as stories with morals, and hymns. We have close links with the Parish Vicar and church team and our collective worship experience is enriched with visits to St Mary’s church at different times in the school year such as Harvest, Christmas and Easter.

Our Collective worship week:

Monday – Whole school collective worship

Tuesday – St .Mary’s Church team led worship

Wednesday – Singing worship

Thursday –Teacher led collective worship

Friday –Whole school celebration worship

Here is our plan for collective worship this term – Assemblies – Spring Term 2

Our celebration worship on is an opportunity to celebrate the success and achievements of all the children in our school. These are held each Friday and we hope to invite parents back into school each week once the COVID pandemic has finished.
