On the 11th November at 11am, KS1 and KS2 joined with the community at the War Memorial in commemorating the sacrifices of the armed forces. We were honoured to lay crosses in memory of Kirtlington men who have lost their lives in conflicts and were incredibly proud of how all the children conducted themselves during the service. A number of children were able to wear family medals, and it was lovely to hear them talking about the experiences of their relatives in their classes during the day. |
