Last Wednesday, Years 3, 4 and 5 went to Marlborough to participate in the U9 and U11 partnership cross-country event. Every child participated in their race and showed the very best of themselves with their determination and resilience. There was tough competition from the other schools but every Kirtlington child gave it their all and we are so proud of every single one of them. When the children weren’t racing, they made the most magnificent cheer squad making pompoms out of leaves and creating their own Kirtlington chants, cheering on every single child from our school. A very special shout out to Freddie W who came 4th in the U11 Boy’s race. |
